Mark's Monthly Newsletter - September 2023

It's been a busy year and I can't quite believe it's September already because it means we're heading into our final trade show of the year, Top Drawer. You can find us at the London Olympia on stand J29 from Sunday to Tuesday this coming weekend.
I love Top Drawer. It's friendly, really well curated by the organisers, I get to see you all and I get such a buzz seeing how you interact with our products. This September we're launching over 100 new products, as well as a brand new stand design that we hope will shave an entire day off our prep time so we can be fresher faced for Sunday... Please keep your fingers crossed for us! If (when) you stop by you can also try and beat us at Cornhole: a simple game of throwing a beanbag in a hole... But be warned, we're a competitive bunch!
Straight after the show, I'm off to the Licensing Awards as we're proud to be nominated in the Best Stationery Product category for our Eden Project Papergang Box. I've heard the goody bags at the show are incredible... I just need to get my outfit sorted.
Later in the month, I'm off to Leeds for the Greeting Card Association's annual conference. The day looks set to be another jam-packed event with some really interesting insights for all things Greeting Cards. For more information, click here.
Lastly, sticking with the theme of conferences, you may have seen I've been invited by the US Greeting Card Association to deliver a keynote talk about Ohh Deer's story in Kansas City this October. The event is happening across three days at Hallmark's Headquarters and I will also be sitting on a panel discussing the UK Greeting Card market. So once Top Drawer is out of the way I'll be spending some time getting ready for this - I hope that a predominantly American audience will understand my accent (and humour) for 45 minutes!
