Founded in 2011, Ohh Deer was created by Jamie Mitchell and Mark Callaby. This queer-run business focuses on supporting artists and creating awesome products. They have a passion for paper products, focussing on greeting cards, stationery and gifts.

  • Meet The Owners

We met at Kingston University where Mark studied illustration and I studied architecture. When we started Ohh Deer way back in 2011 it was a blog which focused on illustration and art.

  • Blog to shop

The fascination with designing products quickly turned it from a blog into a shop. Our first ever stockist was the Kingston Alumni shop which was a huge help at getting us started.

We were the second company to ditch plastic completely from our greeting cards in the UK and we have planted over 150,000 trees in association with Treeaid

What makes us unique is our incredible roster of over 100 talented creatives based around the world. We support every artist we work with, with a share of the revenue going directly to them.

At Ohh Deer, we are deeply committed to embedding good equality and diversity practice into all of our activities to ensure an inclusive, welcoming and inspiring place to work, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital status, pregnancy, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation.

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Our paper products are created using sustainably sourced materials and are lithographically printed which results in fewer emissions and less waste.

We were the second company in the UK to ensure all our cards are completely plastic-free. So you can shop with us knowing we uphold our end of responsibility to looking after our planet

Our Environmental Pledge

Giving Back

Throughout the year we work with various charities and organisations to raise awareness or donations for different causes that are close to our hearts and values.

Through these partnerships we have helped to plant over 150,000 trees with Treeaid, raised donations through our checkout for charities such as DEC Ukraine Appeal and SARI and donated thousands of greeting cards to organisations to help them raise funds and sales in their stores
